Discovering Hope in the daily rhythms of life.

Hi. I’m Connie. Thanks for stopping by. I show up here in this online space to share candidly through my writing my experiences of being human and my struggles and victories along the way. I share them because I believe they matter. They echo a larger story that connects us all. Writing is the vehicle I use to communicate the hope I’ve discovered in the daily rhythms of life. As you read along, I anticipate you will find hope waiting to be discovered in unlikely places.

The world starts to make more sense when told in narrative form, so I love to tell stories. The stories of my life are shaped by the most incredible story ever told—the one from which all stories are born—the story of God. In telling stories of my ordinary life, I believe you’ll see evidence of an extraordinary God at work amid mundane moments.

For nearly two decades, I’ve enjoyed life alongside my best friend turned husband, Taylor. Our love multiplied, and we added four children to our family in five years. Margot, Ryken, Hudson, and Lucy are the spice of my life. Their lives hold gifts that I continue to unwrap.

This picture shows my people doing one of our favorite things: trekking through Mt. Hood National Forrest to cut down our Christmas tree. I love adventuring and exploring the beautiful PNW with this crew!
